MTLEY CRE's NIKKI SIXX Goes After 'Fan' At Maryland's OUTLAW JAM; Video Available

August 1, 2011

According to The Day Tripper, MTLEY CRE bassist Nikki Sixx jumped into the audience and went after a fan who was videotaping the band's July 30, 2011 headlining performance at the Outlaw Jam at Frederick Fairgrounds in Frederick, Maryland. The fan was apparently filming the concert with a professional-style camera, which annoyed Nikki.

MTLEY CRE stopped playing while security guards came out, pulled Sixx back onto the stage and they removed a large camera and its owner from the crowd.

A fan who attended the concert, Eric Seebach of Frederick, told FrederickNewsPost.com that he could not see what went on at ground level.

"We definitely saw security pulling [Sixx] out by his arms," Seebach said. "They ran back across stage with the camera."

Fan-filmed video footage of the incident can be seen below.

There were seven heat and medical emergencies Saturday, according to Frederick County Emergency Communications.
